Calling cell phones in Cambodia is similar to calling land lines. In place of area codes, cellular phones require 2-digit cellular codes. These always begin with either 1 or 9. e.g. For a domestic long-distance call to a cell phone, dial a 0, followed by 1x-xxx-xxx or 9x-xxx-xxx. For international calls to a cellular phone in Cambodia, simply dial the 2-digit cellular code after the country code. e.g. For a call from the U.S. to a Cambodian cell phone, dial 011-855-1x-xxx-xxx or 011-855-9x-xxx-xxx.
